Pizza by the meter is a tradition on Montevideo, Uruguay. The pizza chef cooks the dough with a layer of sauce on top. When people order 25/50/75/100 cm, he slathers another layer of tomato sauce on top and cheese (if you so desire). Rich, gooey and freshly cooked. Delicious. This pizzeria was particularly good - The Manchester on 18 de Julio in downtown Montevideo.
