We visited Angkor Wat in late February, during the dry season. The ground was parched and the intense heat washed over us as the day progressed. We'd be interested to return to Angkor during the rainy season, when the landscape is green and the pools of water surrounding some of the temples are full.
An engraving of a devatas (female deity) in Ta Som temple. They were dressed more simply than the Apsara dancers.
