While walking along the road from Nong Khiaw to the caves, we spotted a couple of ponds full of water lillies. It looked like this had been a picnic or restaurant area at one point, but it had been deserted for some reason.
When we walked back into town, we came across a Swiss traveler taking photos of these turkeys with a tripod. They are pretty, but are they really that pretty?
