Life on the Elbe. This is the reason to take the train from Prague - Dresden - Berlin.
Well, this farmer isn't from Strasbourg, but we stayed in his family's pension for a night outside Nurnburg on our way there. When we arrived late at night, the men of the family were drinking schnaps and when they found out we were from the States and specifically San Francisco, they started cheering on the TV show "Streets of San Francisco." Who said Hollywood isn't America's best advocate in public diplomacy? The next morning, the farmer showed us his dairy cows and walked us around his barn. He didn't speak any English, and we little German, but we managed to communicate just fine. © www.uncorneredmarket.com
Poking around the back streets of Regensburg. Buildings like frosted cake, a wee string of Christmas lights. #Germany
