Slabs of rocks carved with Tibetan Buddhist manuscripts and mantras were piled up at various places along the Annapurna Circuit trail up to Thorong La pass. At every point, they seemed to be paired with a magnificent view, as if the Tibetans were paying homage to the mountains around them.
