Clouds clear at dawn, giving us a glimpse of the mountains surrounding the village of Muktinath. The village was our first encounter with "civilization" - jeeps, tractors, motorcycles since the beginning of our trek. After crossing the Thorong La pass, we had a steep 1,600 meter descent through dry terrain to the village of Muktinath. The way down turned out even more difficult than the way up!
