In Bangladesh, the bill at a restaurant was always served with a tasty mouth freshener of coriander seeds, sweet stuff and a bit of fennel (licorice taste). Could get rather addictive sometimes.
In traditional Bangladesh cooking, the knife is a contraption that is put on the ground and you put your foot on it to keep it still. Then you cut vegetables by holding them against the blade.
