Impromptu sorghum pod sorting with a local family in the Chobe Enclave, Botswana. To understand Botswana, its local culture and food, one must encounter sorghum, the local staple. Seeds are beaten from stalks, sorted, then wind-sifted with traditional woven baskets to remove impurities and dust.
