Honduras is mostly (as in 90%) mestizo, meaning a mixture between the Spanish and indigenous people. However, there are small pockets along the Ruta Lenca in the southwestern part of the country where ethnic Lenca people still live. Here, they participate in the weekly market in La Esperanza, Honduras.
