Before she knew it, Audrey was enlisted to work at this street food stand at Assi Ghat in Varanasi. Her job was stirring and mashing the tomato-potato mixture to go with the aloo tikka (fried potato balls). It was a tough job - she had a blister on her finger after the 20 minutes behind the stove. The stand owner though was responsible for all the seasoning - sweet sauce, lemon juice, fresh coriander (cilantro).
